EZR Curtain Change System

Miami Design are pleased to announce the Wholesale release of the EZR curtain change system and all EZR componentry. The system, due to demand has had pre-release sales at the Royal Hobart Hospital (>300 units) constructed by John Holland Fairbrother joint venture, with Lyons Architects providing documentation and the new Casey Hospital IPU tower ( >200 units), constructed by Watpac, documentation by Silver Thomas Handley, in both cases the product was preferred to the nominated product, post a prototype installation inspection at no extra cost to the client.

In the case of the Casey Hospital, shower tracks were also installed with the EZR curtain change system avoiding overhead changing of curtains in wet areas, no ladders, no reaching, seen as a vast improvement in OHS procedure at the facility.

NSW will have distribution access via Curtain Hardware (Oslo) a leading supplier of Hospital Bedscreen tracking in NSW.

New South Wales Health have shown strong interest in the EZR product after prototype testing was requested at the Newcastle Hospital, where 35 facility managers from throughout NSW and staff of the Newcastle Hospital, critiqued and tested the product over three days. This led to a protocol being published with, Curtain sizes and material’s, periodic curtain changing methods and track position’s being identified to provide the best OHS methods to complete the task. The EZR curtain change system was seen as a preferred product for the process.

NSW distributors/installers, will have training on installation and use in the near future to ensure all site installations are completed to the manufacturer’s standard.
